I designed a charming and humorous illustrative book titled "NOSTALGIA," aimed at celebrating the unique, bittersweet experiences of hostel life for girls and women aged 18 and above. The design concept for the cover features folded paper typography (post-its), symbolizing the adaptability and resourcefulness required in hostel living in vibrant fluorescent colors to capture the reader's eye and evoke a sense of youthful vitality.

Each page within the book features simple yet expressive illustrations, thoughtfully colored to reflect the emotional tone of the stories—from the tranquil blues denoting depth and trust, to the warm pinks expressing care and love. This careful use of color not only enhances the visual storytelling but also deepens the reader's engagement with the content, making each anecdote about hostel life resonate with authenticity and emotional depth. The back cover rounds off the experience with a prologue and testimonials, inviting readers into a shared journey of nostalgia and communal living.
